"When last I was there, he was," Anders wasn't unaware he was potentially going to cause some big problems bringing Fenris back. "I'm not saying what he did was right, but you may want to consider what would happen to an elven slave from Tevinter who killed The Champion of Kirkwal." He hated to be the voice of reason, but he didn't want to drag Fenris all the way back just to get him killed within twenty minutes of entering the city.

"I know you want to make him pay but I hope you understand that his death would mean yours, as well. The best thing I think we can do is sit down and have a nice civil talk." The mage's amber eyes darkened, his voice softening slightly.

"He never told me why he did it. I know that no excuse will be good enough. But I think you should at least hear it."
