This is an elective class. It will focus on both the creation of various healing potions, and the casting of healing spells (both outside of an in combat). The type of class will depend on the subject; some classes will be spent brewing potions, others practicing the spells, others on proper herb collecting and storing techniques.

Anders will also assign simple homework, usually either along the lines of "practice this" or "write me a short essay on this". Anyone is welcome to attend!

If you think you might be interested, please comment here and let me know! Also, feel free to ask any questions you may have. Below, I have provided a class outline that is also available to the students IC, so they know what they are signing up for.

Unit 1: Healing Potions (Level One)

•The proper collection/storage/treatment of healing herbs
--What Herbs to use (Elfroot)
--How to properly collect them
--Cleaning them/preparing them for brewing

•The creation of lesser all purpose healing potions
(cures minor to intermediate injuries: scratches, bruises, cuts, first and second degree burns, ect)
--Proper recipe/preparation
--Appropriate wounds/injuries that can be treated with this potion

•The Creation of Greater Healing Potion

(Heals intermediate to severe injuries: broken bones, fractures, third and fourth degree burns, major lacerations, so on)
--Proper recipe/preparation
--Appropriate wounds to be treated

•Brewing a Stamina Drought
--Proper recipe/preparation (Deep Mushrooms)
--Appropriate uses

Unit 2: Healing Spells for Combat

Spells to be covered:
1.Vigoratus
(Cannonly, Heal)
2.Vigoratus Totus
(Cannonly, Aid Allies/Heal multiple targets)
3.Excito
(Cannonly, Regroup/awake from unconsciousness)

The first spell will be taught in a classroom setting, under no additional pressure. Once the students are comfortable with that, classes will be moved outdoors, with distractions (bludgers flying around, for example) Students will have to both defend themselves, and heal their partners for the activity.

The same will be done for the second spell, and the same for the third (Fainting Fancies will be used in the case of the third).

Unit 3: Healing Potions (Level 2)

The same as unit one, but with these different potions:
Life Ward Potion
Restoration Potion

Final Exam:

Students are presented with three different written situations describing a need for a kind of healing magic to be done; they must describe what they would do in the given situation and why.
